Jolene Van Vugt set a world record on a motorised toilet

To promote the up coming Nitro Circus Live Tour Jolene Van Vugt made an attempt to break a Guinness World Record on a Motorized Toilet. The record was set by a man in Milan last year for 68km/h.

The speed had to be reached between a 100 meter distance and completed twice, going both directions through the 100 meters distance. Jolene was able to break the record by reaching the speed of 75 km/h.

Jolene Van Vugt is a member of the Nitro Circus alongside Travis Pastrana, Erik Roner, Tommy Passemant, Andy Bell and many more. This crew does insane and extremely dangerous and stupid stunts.

X Games invades the world

The biggest and most exclusive extreme sport event X Games is definitely getting bigger. For the year 2013 they have planned six events in five countries. Here we go:

• January 24-27 : Aspen, Colo.
• March 20-22 : Tignes, France
• April 18-21 : Foz do Iguacu, Brazil
• May 9-12 : Barcelona, Spain
• June 27-30 : Munich, Germany
• August 1-4 : Los Angeles, Calif.

 So, people not living in the States, it’s finally our time to get the taste of the X Games! Mark these dates in your calendar and get excited!

First wave of invited Athletes to X Games 18

It’s going to be the 10th summer X Games held in Los Angeles. The manifest of all extreme sports will take place in the downtown of LA at venues and spaces like  STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, Event Deck at L.A. LIVE, the new downtown rally car street circuit and the debut of the Big Air ramp on Chick Hearn Court from June 28 to July 1.

Yesterday, the first list of invited Athletes was released. In the first wave, we can see some big names of MX and FMX like the 11-time X Games medalist Brian Deegan, who is going to defend his 2011 X Games RallyCross gold medal, Nate Adams – a defending Moto X Freestyle and Speed& Style gold medalist. Furthermore, a gold medalist of the inaugural Moto X Enduro X Men’s event Taddy Blazusiak and Vicki Golden, the defending Moto X racing gold medalist. Note: the list will be growing and there still might be some changes and other updates.
