As you all know, Robert Kubica had an awful accident during the Rally Ronde di Andora in Italy last Sunday. He suffered fractures to his right arm, leg and his hand was in awful condition. It was cut on few places and lots loads of blood. The surgeons have done everything to save his arm.
After five days I am reading only positive news about Robert’s condition- especially a particular article on Autosport.com.
Robert Kubica is about to undergo another surgery today. However, he is convinced to be back this season.
“I want to get back on the track stronger than ever, because after these accidents you aren’t what you were before, you improve,” Kubica said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
I am really happy he stays positive and strong. It would be awesome to see him back on the track as soon as possible, but I am afraid it may take the whole season this time. Also the doctors warn him it may take quite a long time to get back in the car.
On the other hand, he may surprise everybody. The recovery depends only on Kubica and his body, how it will react on the healing process. I hope there will be no complications and everything will go well.
If you haven’t read the article on Autosport.com, you’d better check it out. The interview with Robert is very interesting.
