Six months or a full year recovery

Finally, this morning I can bring you more information about Robert Kubica’s health condition. He’s after the surgery which took 7 hours. The specialists were trying to save Robert’s right arm. They haven’t amputated it, yet. According to my source (f1.sk), a week is needed to be sure if they can keep his arm and if it’ll be functional. When the amputation is not needed (I hope so!!), there may occur persistent effects.

Sadly, it’s least likely Robert will race this season. The doctors predict a 6 month or a full year recovery.

It’s really nice, how can a community and even drivers unite together in situation like this. Many drivers sent their ‘Get Well Soon Robert’ wishes via Twitter accounts. Fernando Alonso even visited Robert in hospital last night. Eric Boullier and Vitaly Petrov also have arrived to Italy today.

I know Robert is strong and will not give up. I wish him fast and successful recovery. Cannot wait to see him racing again!
