Kimi Räikkönen’s future is slowly but surely starting to be unquestionable. Citroen has more available cars then seats in team, so Kimi’s launching his own private team Ice 1 Racing for this season. He will drive the Citroen DS3 WRC car. Räikkönen secured the money from private sponsors. However, due to an article on f1-live.hu he may lose some major sponsors. Kimi will attend 10 events from 13, but that depends on various situations. Actually, he may take part in more events.
He also admitted that his comeback into F1 series is not impossible, but after two years it surely would be harder.
“It’s not impossible, but the longer time you are not there, it’s surely harder to come back. If I missed F1, I would go back, but to be honest, I don’t miss it at all.” – said Kimi.
Räikkönen will begin the tests for WRC in the end of the month and the first rally is going to be from 10th – 13th February.
