Life is Full of Turnovers

The WRC season is over and Kimi Räikkönen was spending the time relaxing and having fun. He played ice hockey and honestly, he could be used as a ice hockey player in a good team.

He attended an Enduro Race in Hämeenlinne with Tommi Makinnen and Kari Tianinen. Their team’s name was pretty funny “Mestarit ra vassa’” which means Champions in mud. The race was held on 6th December when the Finnish Independence Day is. Kimi finished 8th in the category he competed in. Obviously, Kimi is talented in many ways 🙂03520a53c7_71808308_v1

However, he still doesn’t have a signed contract for next season. He is not coming back to F1 in 2011 for sure, so I’m wondering where he will get signed in WRC. Will he stay with Citroen or will he go to Ford? According to some articles I’ve read there’s a good chance Kimi Räikkönen will be Ken Block’s team mate at Monster World Rally Team.

Actually, it doesn’t matter where he will get signed at the moment.  I was deeply saddened  by the news about  the death of Kimi’s father Matti Räikkönen. He has passed away yesterday. Mr. Räikkönen was only 56 years old! It’s such a sad occurrence. Losing a beloved person is the hardest thing but losing somebody 2 days before Christmas is much harder. Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of his loss. Kimi and his family has my deepest sympathy. My thoughts are with you. Stay strong!
