I have informed you about the first rally Japan day on Friday. Kimi Räikkönen was doing a great job even on Saturday too. He was 8th overall and feeling really good. Kimi was pleased that he remained error-free throughout the rally so far. There was a high chance he would end the rally and even score some points. However, he misheard a pace note in SS19 and slid wide and off the road on Sunday. The car was undamaged but with no spectators around to help him push back the car he was forced to retire.
Let’s hope Kimi Räikkönen will have more luck in France, where Ken Block will race too.
Congratulations to Sebastien Ogier for this amazing weekend. It was a nice win. Petter Solberg finished second and Jari-Matti Latvala was third.
